Design and Editing: Designed the covers and advertisements, and edited the written content and visual layout of a 32-page souvenir magazine (using QuarkXPress) distributed to the 700-person audience attending a public lecture by Indian dignitary Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Charlotte, North Carolina, July 2006.
Managing Logistics: At Centre International l’Art de Vivre (Ashram Nord-Américain), St-Mathieu-du-Parc, Québec during summer and winter breaks, 2003-2006; coordinated special requests and tended to VIP guests during large retreats (200-400 people), facilitated guest transportation, and managed and accounted for urgent purchases and local foodstuffs.
Personal Initiative: Planned and opened the Young Girls’ Mentoring Center in Aleg, Mauritania, including the selection and recruitment of appropriate students and instructors.
